Please Pray for Whittany..
Just a small update on whittany... As you all know she's had a rough time ever since she had gotten pregnant. Well I was so glad when she finally had Cadence, I thought the troubles would be over. BUT I think the worse had just begun. She went home on a friday, that night developed mastitis (sp?) , with 104 temp, so went to the ER the Saturday morning. Came home sunday morning, because they couldn't get a hold of the doctor, therefor they wouldn't give her any meds, not even benadryl for all of her swelling and itching. Well I went to visit her that morning, and while I was there, her OB called and told her husband it was crucial for her to get back to the hosp.. So I left and they did just that. Well... She got there, and they discovered she had a lot of infection in her cesarian inscision. They had to reopen the inscision and drain it...then, they put her on antibiotics... Wasn't helping, the next day or so, she txt me and told me her leg was numb due to infection... They doubled her dose of antibiotics... If that didn't help the next day they were going to do surgery.. Well that next morning, she txt me and said both legs were numb and her back.. They had to do surgery. She said the infection was softball size... but they got the majority of it.. I was thinking ok now we can start to get better, and go home.. Well the day after that she had pnuemonia. UGH... So they started treating her for that. Maybe a few days went by.. then she txt me while I was at work and informed me she had MSRA... I said staph? She was like YES the FLESH EATTING BAD KIND... I started to worry, my first thought was find a new hospital?.. Well a while went by.. she said it wasn't getting better, and said the skin on her stomach was black.. smelt bad like dead skin, they had to remove it.. that went well... I was excited THEN I thought she was on the road to recovery, The had to put a wound vac in to drain the infection... She got to go home Saturday July 11th... She was going to her moms because she can't do anything, and her husband had to work.. So I told her, I know she wanted to be at home at her house, so I was off on Sundays and Mondays and I could take her to her house and just sit there with her so she could be at her home. Well... this monday I didn't get to because she had to be at her moms so they could change the dressing on her wound, sometime monday I got a msg, she was back in the hospital... Could hardly breathe... Well... After my long story... Whittany is back in the hospital she's in ICU at Kingwood Hospital. She has a blood clot in her lung. Whittany is the best friend that I have.. I'm not ready to let go... She needs all the prayers she can get, that is why I shared this story with you... Cadence needs a mommy... She's put up a good fight so far, because through it all she's still been able to text message me just about everyday. But that doesn't always mean she's doing well... Tell everyone you know, Tell your church... Please start a massive prayer group for her... With everyones prayer, I think she will overcome this!
The Zoo Once Again

Well Josh doesn't really remember being to the Zoo before, so I decided to take him. Josh, Alyssa, beanie and I went to the Zoo Monday morning, and we had fun. There was NO one there... and it seems that when you go early in the morning, you get to see a lot of activities. For instance, at 10 am, they bathe the elephants... We got to see the elephants really close up, it was awesome, and then we went over to the giraffes, and as we stood by the fence, one had walked up and started licking the post... Then another one followed they were so close!!! I got some really cool pics of the jellyfish, when I was taking the pics they didn't look all that great, but when I put them on the computer, it was better than I had thought. After petting the goats, and playing in the water we took a short ride on the carousel. Beanie loved it, she was like a 3 yr old, she screamed not in fear but in excitement , as it went in circles... After leaving the zoo Alyssa wanted to ride the train, so we ventured across the parking lot to take a ride on the train, and MAN did it feel good to sit down. We missed Dylan, but they said he had been cranky lately, and didn't want me to get out there and all he do is cry for mommy... but I missed him!
